One of our most important programs, this evening's focus is solely about networking! This is our most interactive night of the year and rather than a formal speaker, the program "takes place" at each dinner table in the room. Sit with different members during each dinner course, and explore various questions in a mini-group format moderated by our board members. We talk about our business challenges, and global issues that are on everyone's minds. Members have really enjoyed the opportunity to really get to know each other - and of course trade business cards! | HOLIDAY PARTY & SILENT AUCTION
December's meeting is a holiday AND community celebration! This is a festive evening with a fabulous dinner, music by the Eagle County Children's Chorale, and our annual silent auction. The auction has been a huge success - we have sold ALL items and raised money for our scholarship fund and local charitable organizations. In the past we have also invited speakers from local charities to speak about their contribution to the community, and how we can help these worthwhile causes.
MEMBERSHIP SOIREE
September is our membership month. This is another "party atmosphere" meeting with lots of interaction, great appetizers and lots of door prizes! Our long time members mingle with never-evers and those who have recently joined to find out what we're all about! It is always interesting to hear the testimonials about membership; how women have benefited professionally, personally, and what the group has meant to them. The highlight of the evening is "Get to Know VVBW Bingo," a fun way to meet everyone and win some great prizes! We offer discounted admission this evening to those who join VVBW at the soiree.
